Charity Partnerships

We’re currently not running any charity partnerships but as a business PZ Cussons is proud to support a number of charities including Wood St. Mission and the Halle Youth.

All Original Source products contain 100% natural fragrances, and all our fragrances are developed to the ISO 9235 international Standard and only use natural aromatic ingredients. We work hard with our supply partners to sustainably source from multiple sources. Nature can be unpredictable, but its quality and beauty is undeniable. We do all of this to give people a boost with invigorating products because we know that nature hits different.

Original Source only use 100% natural fragrance ingredients. The common name ‘parfum’ is used for fragrance ingredients whether they are sourced from nature or are synthetic. Parfum is a complex blend of fragrant ingredients and is a generic term that must be stated on the ingredients list when any fragrance materials are added to perfume the product.

Our Max Boost range is all about capturing the intensity nature has to offer – we’ve taken inspiration from natures natural stimulants and brought these to life with our Max Boost shower range. Designed with 100% natural fragrances that stimulate the senses and give you an energising kickstart to your day. Our range is also made with Vitamin B which is known to keep skin healthy and feeling super soft. If you’re after a shower gel that will really turn up the fragrance dial in the shower and will supercharge your day look no further than our Max Boost range. Even better, it carries both the PETA approved and Vegan Society accreditations.

Our 2 in 1 Shower and Shave range elevates the everyday shower experience. Our patented formulation creates a shower transformation like no other! Apply the vivid, bright gel and watch as it transforms into a super foamy lather which can be used top to toe – a real sensory takeover! Even better, the 2 in 1 benefit means you can use it everyday for your all over shower but also with the added benefit of being used for shaving. Like the rest of our range, the 2 in 1 Shower and Shave range is packed full of 100% natural fragrance to supercharge your shower and carries both the PETA approved and Vegan Society accreditations.

Our Original Source Mint & Tea Tree Shower Gel / Mint & Tea Tree 2 in 1 Shower & Shave contain menthol and we use 100% natural mint oil in the products. The tingling and/or cooling effect you may experience is not uncommon with products that contain menthol. We do recognise that each user may have a different level of response when using this product, safety is built into every stage of development on Original Source.  Each product is safety assessed by a qualified professional and is dermatologically tested and approved. If our Mint & Tea Tree fragrance is not the right fit for you, we do have a wider range of fragrances available that do not contain menthol which may be better suited for your shower experience.

All the Original Source shower range have been dermatologically tested but not specifically on people with sensitive skin. Safety is built into every stage of development on Original Source, before it is placed on the market each product is safety assessed by a qualified professional, to ensure all our products are safe to use. We design our products with essential oils and fragrances to be impactful on the senses, and some, in particular Original Source Mint & Tea Tree is intended to have a ‘tingle’ effect, which may not be suited for someone with sensitive skin.

Before products are placed on the market, each product is safety assessed by a qualified professional to ensure all our products are safe to use. In some circumstances some products may stain some surfaces and there is a warning on the back of pack ‘may cause staining’ to make consumers aware of the potential risk.

We regularly review our range of goods to ensure it meets our customer’s needs and preferences, which can unfortunately result in less popular products being removed from the market. We apologise for any frustration and disappointment this may cause.

We’re proud that all Original Source formulations are vegan! Even better, we’re accredited by The Vegan Society who are internationally recognised for authentic vegan products free from animal ingredients and animal testing. To gain accreditation we’re proud to comply with stringent checks because we believe it’s the right thing to do.

Products must be:

• Free from animal products, by-products & derivatives
• Manufacturing processes must be free from animal products, by-products and derivatives
• Free from animal testing
• Free from genetically modified organisms (GMOs) that include animal genes.
• Manufacturers and suppliers are also expected to take all reasonable steps to eliminate cross-contamination.

So, you can be rest assured that when we develop our products, from beginning to end, no ingredients or by-products come from animals, all our shower gels are vegan, and PETA approved.

Original Source is opposed to any form of animal testing in the development of our products and marketing of our brand. This means we do not test ingredients or finished products on animals, nor do we commission or request any of our suppliers, distributors or associates to test ingredients, or products on animals. In fact, we’re PETA approved and carry their logo proudly on all our Original Source products.

PZ Cussons is committed to ensure 100% of the palm oil we source comes from producers whose operations have been independently verified as compliant with No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation (NDPE) standards. We monitor our performance using Starling satellite data and strive to improve our performance by working with partners like Earthworm Foundation. We publish an annual Palm Progress Report that builds on the commitments we made and our continued membership of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). While we use less than 0.001% of the world’s supply of palm oil, we hold ourselves accountable for the palm oil we source, and we hope to play our part in the overall reform of the industry.
