"The Oxford-based Headington Road Runners were delighted to secure Original Source as a sponsor of its annual 10km Road Race.
To be held on Sunday 4 September 2011, the race takes place near Worminghall, Buckinghamshire, approximately 6 miles east of Oxford. The course follows a rural route from an old airfield and through the village on country lanes. The race itself attracts a mixture of club athletes, looking for fast times on the flat course, as well as casual runners. Juniors can take part in the fun run to make it a family day out. The event attracts hundreds of participants each year and the day is concluded with a prize giving ceremony along with tea and cake. Best of all, proceeds from the event are donated to two local charities: OXSRAD and Thomley Activities Centre (both sporting and recreational facilities that support disabled children and their families).
This year, all finishing runners will be awarded with a T-Shirt as well as a goodie bag packed full of treats - including an Original Source surprise! Runners take note, the Original Source shower gels not only provide a refreshing and invigorating post-run shower, but they also double up as the perfect baton substitute at relay races!
