Happy World Vegan Day!

Here at Original Source we’re proud to be celebrating World Vegan Day today, as part of the World Vegan Month this November! Original Source carries The Vegan Society’s logo on all of our favourite products, due to our use of Vegan friendly ingredients within our intense range of products!

Since 1944 The Vegan Society has been promoting a way of living free from animal products, for the benefit of people, animals and the environment. There are many events going on around the world to celebrate “veganism”, including many here in the UK! There’s even a World Vegan Day fashion show in Montreal – just in case you’re in town! World Vegan Month events are opening in Lincoln, Blackpool and Wolverhampton to celebrate WVM, if you’re around why not pop along?

To avoid confusion regarding the testing on animals of your product or ingredients, should you not display the BUAV certification?

It's great to know that Original Source are vegan and against animal testing. However, as Original Source is owned by PZ Cussons, who test on animals, can we really be sure that our money is not being used to fund unsavoury animal experiments? Just a thought.

PZ Cussons (UK) Ltd., does not test any finished products on animals, nor do we commission any third party to do so on our behalf. In order to ensure compliance with the legal requirements of the Cosmetics Directive, we work closely with our ingredients suppliers to ensure that no animal testing takes place, either on our behalf or that of the cosmetics industry, and that ingredients are of the highest quality. We have always been anxious to avoid unnecessary animal suffering, and we support research into alternative testing methods. We strive for the highest safety standards for our products, and ensure this only by appropriate testing on human volunteers. All of our family use your Vegan products, including our two American Hairless Terriers who get the Original Source treatment in the shower everyday! There are not many good vegan products out there so THANK YOU!
