Epsom Allsorts Hogsmill 5 Race

Our friends over at the Epsom Allsorts share their experiences of the Epsom Allsorts Hogsmill 5 Race. Looks like a great day ladies!

"After a night of rain it looked as if we were in for a deluge. Then the sun came out and by ten o’clock it shone on a group of well-named Allsorts preparing for their ladies only Hogsmill 5 Race. Women of all ages, shapes and sizes enjoyed a five mile run through the local park and byways, beginning and ending on a running track.

There was such a mix of competitors that the winner finished in 33.36 and the final lady was cheered home after 1hour 12minutes, exactly what the Epsom Allsorts philosophy is all about. Families came to watch, children ran their own races to earn a medal and all enjoyed the famous tea and cake stall.

Original Source supplied a bottle of reviving Orange and Ginger hair and body wash to add to the prizes for each finisher. Tea, cake and a hot shower. What could be better than that after a good race!" Lesley Todd
